It is interesting to note that most authors of NDE books seem to have a lot in common. Their stories are very similar to one another. Many of these authors are professional people. For example, Melvin Morse is an M.D., a pediatrician and neuroscientist. Some are religious, like Betty Eadie of Christian faith, and Alan Bryson of the "Baha'i Faith". Regardless of the person's religious convictions, the Near Death Experience, and those that have lived through it, is a fascinating subject. Since NDE's try to give us some clue, some glimpse and hope of where we might go when we pass away, even the most skeptical find themselves intrigued by it. The Betty Eadie book (which I read) describes an experience similar to my mother's NDE story, and I personally recommend it.
